Why should I use a CRTS and are they Industry Regulated?

CRTS™ Professionals are trained and accredited graduates and Industry regulated by the Senior Transition Society of North America (SRTS).  We have extensive knowledge about the costs, quality and availability of community resources.  For the safety and protection of clients and their families throughout the home transition process, CRTS’s are insured and bonded and have undergone background security checks.

Is Completely Organized Moves a “Moving” Company?

No, we are not a “moving company” and we are not licensed or insured to ship household items.  However, as a CRTS™ we are certified to plan, coordinate and manage all aspects of your move.  Also, as part of our services to you, we offer a reliable network of professional moving companies who will provide bids for your move and team and with us to manage your move.

Do you do long-distance moves? 

Yes, we also plan, coordinate and manage long distance moves.  As a CRTS™ and NASSM Member, we have fellow members nationwide and we will work closely together to coordinate your move and ensure a smooth transition across state and county lines. 

How do I get started and how does the moving/relocation process work?

It’s never too early to get started.  For your convenience we’ve developed a simple 6-step process…

STEP 1    Initial Contact:  Tell us your Moving needs and schedule an appointment

STEP 2    Moving Proposal: We’ll tour your space and review realistic time & cost estimates.      

STEP 3    Needs Assessment: For the DIY (Do it Yourself) or the (Do it Yourself) with our help Client. 

We’ll Tour your space and provide a Step by Step Moving Plan (also know as our “Power Assessment”) including a floor plan to help you decide what will realistically fit in your new space

STEP 4    Moving Out: Coordinate the moving company, manage vendors and arrange 
home staging services

STEP 5    Moving-In: Direct movers, coordinate contracted services, unpacking and settling- into your new residence, removal of packing material from premises and recycle

STEP 6    Follow -up/Maintenance: to ensure everything is “In Working Order”


Will my information be kept confidential? 

Yes, we are a completely confidential service and bonded and insured for your protection.  Our professional policy is to be non-judgmental in all of our client dealings and “what we see in your space stays in your space”.    We also adhere to strict standards of professional conduct and professionalism as prescribed in the NASMM Code of Ethics.  www.nasmm.org  

Are your services expensive?

Each client’s relocation and transition challenges and needs are unique.  Are your family and friends too far away to help with your move? Are you aware that most movers don’t help you downsize, organize or unpack? We encourage you to view having a Certified Move Manager as an Investment of time into yourself and your space.  Since you’re already paying a mover, why not Invest a little more to have Completely Organized Moves manage your entire move?

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my Appointment? 

We understand that there may be an occasion when you will need to cancel or reschedule our appointment.  Our Professional Policy is: You may cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your session without charge.  If you cancel or reschedule with less than a 24 hour notice you will be responsible for paying Completely Organized 50% of the scheduled session fee.  In addition, all appointment changes must be made by phone
